Dear Mr. Lee,
As a newly elected member of your city government, I am sponsoring the first Merritville Citizens’ Forum. Please join us at 3 P.M., on Saturday, June 20, in the city conference hall. The upcoming forum will give us a chance to talk about the issues that are important to citizens and local businesses in Merritville. Those attending will be able to raise issues, ask questions, and discuss the future of our city. The afternoon will conclude with a performance by the Jefferson High School saxophone club.
This Citizens’ Forum will be the first in a series, and I hope that you will be able to participate. I’m looking forward to meeting you in person.
